Durango Therapist Anne Hosey, MA

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor
here to help you get unstuck so you
can build a life you like.

You're here because...

You’re here because you’re stuck.

Stuck in self-doubt, stuck in a job you’re not sure if you like, stuck because you don’t know what’s next in life.

It’s like you’re in the middle of a big sticky spider web. The more you thrash and struggle, the more entangled and tired you become.

You don’t have to keep fighting so hard.

  • What if you could learn to stop struggling?

  • What if you could choose where to put your energy instead of spending it in a fight you can’t win?

  • What if you could learn to love yourself and your life?

Therapy with me can help you achieve these goals.

I help self-doubterssensitive helpers, and quarterlifers gain the self-understanding they need to get unstuck and build a life they like.

Get started today by scheduling a consultation call.

I’m here because…

I know what it feels like to be tangled in that big sticky spider web.

  • Like you, I know how painful and isolating self-doubt and low self-confidence can be.

  • Like you, I’m a sensitive helper who had to learn to hold boundaries and protect my energy.

  • Like you, I floundered in quarterlife and wished for an understanding and compassionate guide.

You don't have to struggle alone any more.

I’ve spent the last 15 years helping people notice where they’re stuck so they can put their energy and time into what's important.

We’re here together because…

You deserve a compassionate guide.

Someone who can be there with you as you get untangled from that sticky web and start moving towards a life you like.

Therapy with me is gentle, warm, flexible and focused on what’s important to you.

Through working together you’ll build confidence, live more intentionally, and appreciate your day-to-day existence.

Ready to take the next step?

I offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation call to all interested clients. Book yours today.

You don't need a "because" to reach out.

About Me: More Deets

Here are some details about my professional journey in case you're interested in that sort of thing:

I earned my master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adam’s State in 2018.

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado since 2020. This means I have a graduate degree from a CACREP accredited program and 2000 hours of supervised post-graduate work. Continuing education is required to maintain my license, so I'm always learning and growing.

I started my private practice, Juniper Tree Mental Health, in the spring of 2021.

My past therapeutic work experiences include wilderness therapy, a graduate internship at the FLC Counseling Center, community mental health, and group practice.

I've also worked stints on local farms, and have been a barista, a housekeeper, and a Peace Corps volunteer. I love working with quarterlifers so my time at Fort Lewis College and Appalachian State University working in student support was particularly meaningful.

I'm trained in a variety of approaches including person-centered therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR, and I often use mindfulness-based and body-centered practices in my work.
